Patented Turbo Technology: The Power of Controlled Turbulence

MORE PERFORMANCE FROM EVERY DROPLET

TTJ60 flow simulation

How Turbo Technology Works

  1. Controlled Liquid Entry – a pre-orifice regulates the liquid entering the nozzle and creates an internal pressure drop.
  2. Internal Direction Change – the liquid changes direction after passing through the pre-orifice and enters a horizontal chamber
  3. Turbo Turbulence – the chamber energizes and mixes the liquid flow before it reaches the deflector.
  4. Controlled Spray Formation – the spray exits through the nozzle outlet as a defined pattern with a controlled droplet spectrum.

The result is a spray distribution that balances coverage and drift control without compromising application quality.

BENEFITS

  • Reduces drift through larger, more uniform droplet sizes
  • Delivers consistent coverage across a wide range of operating pressures
  • Improves canopy penetration for better product efficacy on target
  • Minimizes off-target loss, helping lower overall input costs
  • Supports compliance with drift-reduction requirements on product labels
  • Reduces the need for frequent tip changes across varying application needs

FEATURES

  • Patented internal turbulence technology
  • Pre-orifice and/or air induction designs that increase droplet size
  • Available in single or twin-angle spray patterns for varied coverage needs
  • Durable construction options including polymer, brass, and stainless steel
  • Color-coded by capacity for quick, accurate identification
  • Compatible with standard nozzle caps and gaskets for easy installation
  • Effective across a broad pressure range, typically 15 to 90 PSI

Why Choose Turbo Nozzles?

Improved Drift Control

Turbo tips produce coarser droplets which means that the drops have more weight and energy to resist the wind resulting in improved drift control.

Reduced clogging risk

The construction of the Turbo chamber allows for a wider entrance orifice. Thus meaning less tendency to clog during spraying operations.

Consistent droplets

A more uniform droplet spectrum supports predictable coverage and application performance.

Productive application

By combining coverage, drift control and application flexibility, Turbo technology can support efficient use of crop protection products.

PWM Compatibility

All Turbo Family nozzles are approved for use with modern Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) spraying systems, allowing operators to maintain the target droplet size while application rates changes across varying speeds and field conditions.
