Spray drift is one of agriculture's most significant environmental challenges, carrying chemicals off-target and into waterways, non-crop areas, and neighboring fields. TeeJet has led the effort to solve this problem for decades.
In 1998, TeeJet introduced the AI tip series — combining a pre-orifice and venturi to produce large, drift-resistant droplets — a direct response to the growing need for products that reduce spray drift. Today, that legacy continues with our DynaJet® PWM technology. The DynaJet system is compatible with nozzles designed to reduce drift by up to 90%, providing an ideal solution for environmentally friendly spraying.
By automatically controlling pressure and droplet size across a wide range of speeds, DynaJet allows operators to select optimal ground speeds while maintaining a consistent droplet size everywhere in the field — even under the most challenging conditions.
Smarter Coverage, Less Waste
Overlapping chemical applications don't just cost money — they harm the environment. TeeJet's BoomPilot® Automatic Section Control uses GPS technology to eliminate this problem. BoomPilot records the GPS location of applied areas in a field. When a section of a sprayer boom overlaps one of those areas, BoomPilot automatically switches that boom section off — and switches it back on when the boom re-enters an unapplied area.
The result: waste is eliminated and input costs can be reduced by up to 15%. Less fuel. Less chemistry. Less environmental impact.
